October Birthdays part two....
Good evening blog land, why is it that Sundays always seem to come and go much faster than all the other days? maybe it's because the world and all his grandchildren want to visit you on this particular day and then they all stay for tea, before you know it your kitchen is full of dirty pots and pans and it is starting to go dark outside lol.
Sundays just ain't what they used to be
As I said in my last post I would show the card that I made for my sis-in-law using once again the Peacock from a Kanban set of stamps
When I took the photo's I hadn't quite finished the card I still had the inside to do, of course I made the panels for the inside to match the front
Better get cracking and onto the next lot
Next on the list is my granddaughter Lily
her birthday was on the 17th and a quick card was in order so I used one of my Sugar Nellie stamps - Little Miss Attitude as this just reminded me of her I wonder why? 10 going on 18 if you know what I mean , can't leave my make-up or nail varnish out anywhere
I will post the photo next time as I am missing Downton Abbey.... must run
have a good week everybody x

OCTOBER - The month for Birthday's, well in my family anyway!!
Good evening to one and all hope you all had a good weekend and tomorrow is already Tuesday, at the beginning of the month which is always a good place to start it was my boss Heather's birthday so I made a card for her (thought it might be appropriate) so here it is
October 6th
The stamp set I used is from Kanban and the Peacock was stamped and embossed onto alcohol inked glossy card with black embossing powder, the hummingbird has been stamped with Indigo Blu flitter glue and glitter added and the peacocks tail is highlighted with a Pearl Pen from Viva. Finally a touch of a feather was added especially for Heather lol She knowns what I mean he! he!
This is the start of many to come I hope I survive and deliver
Lets see who's next on the long list of October Birthdays, Oh! I know that would be Bernadette a lovely lady whom I met through work, Ooohhh! guess what I forgot? to take a photo of the card I made for her, well I used the same set of stamps but this time I made it in Autumn colours with a slightly different layout, hoped you liked it Bernie.... if I can I will take a photo of it and post it later.
And next it would most definitely be my wonderful sis-in-law Patrisha
Both these lovely ladies share the same birthday OCTOBER 16th
On that date I will finish off my post and show you the card I made for Trish next time.
Before I forget I just want to say Hi to Christine who came home from hospital at the weekend after having her op on Thursday, you take it easy hun, hugs and best wishes to You xx. Nite nite all have a good week :)

All the Leaves of Autumn
Well it certainly is a blustery day here in the north west I guess you could say we are well into Autumn now, although the sun keeps on trying to shine a little from time to time, no doubt it will be raining tomorrow.... who knows? after all tomorrow is another day when all is said and done " just wait and see" is what my mum used to say to me, so I will...
Here is a photo of two cards I made at work for a class later this month I think that watching the leaves falling from all the trees gave me some inspiration for these two
I have used a set of Andy Skinner stamps and the leaf is the free stamp from last months Craft Stamper Magazine, an embossing folder, Distress inks, card candi, small eyelets and some satin ribbon. Both cards are C5 in size and simple by design but I enjoyed making them : )
Thanx for stopping by x.
