Shimmer mi Snowflakes!

What a lovely day it's been, well only if you happen to be a duck that is! just the day to stay in and craft. The very thing to do when all your best attempts at cleaning every little mess up or in my case a very large mess from the last week or so in fact I don't think that there is one bit of space left to craft in on my table, shame on me! Here's a look at what I have been up to this weekend.

I have been playing with my Mica powders and Versamark ink for the snowflake background and I have stamped the images in black Archival on each panel and added a little touch of colour with my Distress inks, it's been quite a while since I used my Mica powders and now there is even more mess to tidy lol! Guess what I will be doing for the next few hours oh well! no-one else is going to do it so I'd better make a start ...

Who you looking at????

Good morning blogland! Just a quick post to share with you what I could see when I got up yesterday morning as I waited for my computer to load, low and behold through the window I noticed something a little odd! something I'd not seen before, not there anyway, and it was looking straight back at me. Did my eyes deceive me I think not but just to be sure I went outside to take a better look and yes there it was on top of the telegraph pole so I grabbed my camera and this is what I saw!

Yes it is a squirrel!  It stayed there all day just kept changing direction from time to time and made no attempt to come down from it's mighty perch until dusk descended and in a blink of an eye it was gone.
Wonder if he worked for the phone company lol!

Good morning to all, wow is it Monday already? What a weekend!!! I don't think that my legs belong to me any more, such a busy two days and I didn't know I could still function after spending so much time on my feet with so little sleep in between days lol!
Anyway it was really enjoyable and I can't wait to do it all again. Just my luck I will have to cut short my post as my son has phoned to ask me for a lift home from work, always happens when you don't want it to!
Here are a couple of cards I did last week using the Woodware Clear magic Stamps and of course Distress Ink pads with a little of the mica shimmer sprays over the top xxx  Sheilagh  : )

It's about time! and 110 days until the C word

Well it has been a little while but I seem to be back on track again, just a quick post for the moment as I am working on some new projects that I need to finish so chop chop!
After going to the show at Leigh which was rather good and also to Manchester Central that wasn't quite as good as expected but that's just my opinion, somehow it seemed to be smaller than before anyhow there is always the next one at Trafford Park next weekend, we shall see lol!
Thought I might share with you a couple of cards I made last week and of course they just had to be .....................................................................well of the Christmas variety don't you know after all it is only 110 days until that event on the calendar lol........................... : )

I have used a Woodware Clear Magic stamp for the main image
and the sentiment is from a
Papermania stamp set

I have coloured the numbers and holly with Distress Inks and
covered the numbers and berries
with 3D glaze and a touch of GD

This is another stamp from Woodware
Clear Magic and this time I have stamped and embossed with WOW white powder onto vellum, decoupaged the flowers after colouring them on the reverse with my Promarkers.
Hope you like them, more later Sheilagh x
