In the Meadow

Oh! OOOOH! Up to my neck in Crafters Companion goodies not stopped all day since I got up preparing for my demo day on Saturday and I'm absolutely shattered now, think I had better stop before things start to go horribly wrong despite the fact that my printer doesn't want to work any more and I don't really have time to go and get a new one and there is soooooo much stuff out that I can't find the things that I'm looking for lol! And in case you are all wondering yes there is a class tomorrow so before I fall asleep here is what we shall be making. On the first card ............. I have used Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap D.I's, Black Versafine and Clear Powder along with Songbird stamp from Creative Expressions.
On card two I used Dusty Concord and the same ink and embossing powder for the stamp which is Butterfly Meadow. Well I shall be off now in order to try and tidy things away so I can organize myself for tomorrow, Yeh! Right who am I kidding I'll still be like this till the cows come home no change there then just hope I'm ready for the big day on Saturday. See you soon x

Happy Easter - Get Well & Thank You

Hello to you all, hope you are enjoying this beautiful sunny day lets hope it continues but I'm not  holding my breath just yet. Well I guess you most likely know already but I can now confirm that the very nice lady from CRAFTER'S COMPANION she said yes and I'm now an accredited demonstrater for them whoop Whoo ! so now the hard but enjoyable work begins. I now have three demo's booked and the first is in Fleetwood in two weeks time no pressure there then just have to make all my samples and do all the prep work Oh What ! Plenty of time but did I mention that I am standing in for Louise at the shop on some of the days while she and Ian are away over the next two weeks should be fun lol!  Anyway lets get back to next weeks class here is a very quick preview of what we will be making. I will post again later and let you know what I have used to make both cards
Sorry the photos aren't too good but I'm having to blog from my phone not as easy as the PC can't edit the photos the same.
Will post again with more details asap!

Butterfly Panel with Vellum

Hello again, as promised card number two. This is a DL card which I have embossed with my Butterfly Embossalicious folder, I have stamped the image onto pearl card and embossed with Versamark and Silver powder then stamped onto the Vellum but this time I used White embossing powder. After cutting out the butterflies and flowers I have coloured on the reverse with my Promarkers in lilac, purple and blue. Just like the last card I have added a little glitter to highlight. Like I said in the last post this was a very quick and easy card to make. Sorry for the lack of photo's and the short post, see you soon x  :-)

Butterfly Panel

Morning! Still having trouble with this darn internet never know when it's going to be on so I have had to blog from my phone so it's short 'n' sweet for this week so here is the Butterfly Panel Stamp from Woodware. Stamped and coloured with Distress Inks Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn and Mustard Seed. The sentiment is from my stash and is stamped in Black Versafine, I used a Quickie glue pen to add some glitter. I will add another post after this one to show you the second card I made using the same stamp, it's quite a large stamp so you could make quick cards very easily especially if you made bookmark style cards......

Stampers Anonymous Papillon with Alison & Georgina

Monday! Monday! it's always Monday why does it come around so soon?  Maybe because I went out over the weekend on both Saturday and Sunday - naughty me! unheard of when I should be home finishing off the cards for our class this week so therefore I should be grateful for Monday's as that is exactly what I have been doing this morning and now it's afternoon and I can breath once more well I hope so lol! and to make things even better my car has passed it's MOT and I'm truly pleased  : )

Well here we go again so to speak ready for our crafting session this week and guess what? I've gone and used some of the same stamps that we have already done our last few classes with but this time I have teamed them up with some others and they would be Papillon - Stampers Anonymous - by Tim Holtz along with Georgina and Alison by Woodware these are the large flowers Clear Magic Singles Stamps. Georgina is one that we used in the Hello Flowers class on the 8x8 card together with the mixed set of smaller flowers which is also included in this weeks cards.

Card one is an 8x8 base card.

It would appear that there are some issues with the internet at this moment in time thanks for that Sky!!!

I will try and get this finished as soon as possible but it isn't playing fair and I'm having difficulties in uploading the photo's for you so please bare with and I'll do my best.......

As you can see I have used Clear Ink and White Embossing Powder for the flowers and Gold Powder for the Butterflies on the tag.

Distress Ink Pads
Walnut Stain
Salty Ocean
Worn Lipstick

Gosh this is taking forever if I thought I would get anywhere by phoning and complaining I would do but it will probably take just as long to get through to them .

The background has been created with the Papillon stamp set using the Walnut Stain D I pad and white embossing powder.

Salty Ocean and Worn Lipstick have been used to make the tag along with Gold embossing powder.

Sorry folks the photo's aren't the best I have now almost decided to give up as I have been trying to get this post finished for the last two no three hours now and I still haven't got to the second card yet, think I will go now and come back later to finish what I started lol!

Just in case I don't get back I used Aged Mahogany and Wild Honey ink pads, also Black Versafine and Clear Powder. A Bright Yellow Promarker.

The background has been stamped in Aged Mahogany and then embossed in a folder through the eBosser.

I have made the centre of the flower using a small die cut then adding Glossy Accents and some chunky gold glitter.
 At last card 2.

The flower has been stamped onto vellum in black Versafine and embossed in Clear powder. I have coloured it on the reverse with my yellow Promarker and Wild Honey ink pad.

I have added some gilding flakes to the border strip and then a little of the Wild Honey Distress Ink.

Here goes!!

Thought I'd never get this post out to you all so I'm going now before anything else goes wrong
"Publish post now"
Fingers crossed !

See you soon
