Hi All! what a busy weekend I had, did my demo day on Saturday at The Craft Range in Burnley and it was really busy never seemed to stop and had to excuse myself so I could go and get my lunch which had been provided for all the people who where also demoing and I have to say a very good day was had by all, some very clever people dishing out lots of inspiration which I think we all need from time to time. Home on Sunday and putting away and sorting out all my stuff *did I really take so much? yes I did and it took me ages to put it all away again* only to start again later on in the afternoon for our classes this week so I for one don't actually know what happened to this weekend it just disappeared before my eyes lol!
Moving on swiftly before it's Friday again and I have to pack up the entire kit once more as I have to venture out again next Saturday this time to Ramsbottom, don't have time to think I must be on auto pilot and could do with some one switching it off for a while then I might be able to resume normal life.............Fat Chance!!! me thinks ha!
So back to the question ??? What ever happened to Peel-Off's.................. well it's like this............
Black Floral Peel-Off's
Acetate
Double sided sticky sheet
Mega Gilding Flakes
White permanent Marker Pen
Simple and very effective....
The background has been embossed and I used Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink Pads to add the colour.
Black Versafine and Clear Powder for the sentiment which is a Chloe Stamp.
I embossed black card and then added gold and silver Gilding Wax to give a metallic look.
Next as you can see I have used some smaller Peel-Off's again in black onto the acetate and double sided sticky sheet but this time I have changed the look by adding Crystal Glitter.
The Die cut panel is the Tattered Lace free die from their magazine Issue 8 Floral Panel cut from white card and layered onto Core'dinations card stock.
The Sentiment panel on this card has been stamped in Black Versafine and embossed in Clear Powder and comes from the Vintage Floral Sentiments Collection by Crafters Companion.
The embossed background has been inked with Stormy Sky Distress Ink Pad
If you would like to change the colour of your flowers then just bring a different colour of glitter with you.
Below is a photo of the die and stamp set I used.
Well I think that's everything Oh! just remembered something if you have a clean piece of Cut-n-Dry Foam then bring it with you and all shall be revealed......Oooooh the mind boggles!! lol!

In the Hydrangea Garden - Stampendous
Well we're back this week so hello to all hope you've all enjoyed your break and for a change it's not Christmas this week so don't be too disappointed will you lol!
Classes this week start on Tuesday evening at 7pm and on Thursday at 10am & 7pm just so you know and we will be making a 8x8 card and a 6x6 card using this beautiful stamp and die set Hydrangea Garden from Stampendous. It's one of their Cling Jumbo sets and the stamps come with a free template/mask and there are four stamps to this set not to mention the dies that go along with it but they are sold as a separate item and they do help if you don't like to cut out your stamped images......... Don't be lazy I say........get them cut NOT lol!! not if you don't have to this saves time. Anyhow lets move on and show you what I came up with nothing too stressful for our first week back after our break.
OK here's a brief run down on card one.
This is the 8x8 card.
I have used the Vintage Words embossing folder in the background and inked lightly with Spun Sugar, Scattered Straw and round the edge with Black Soot.
The centre panel is patterned paper and embossed with Vintage Floral Blooming Wonderful, inked with a tiny hint of Peeled Paint and Spun Sugar, a touch of Black Soot and then I used my Pebeo Silver Gilding Wax around the edges.
The Hydrangea and Butterfly have been stamped onto silver Pearl card in black Versafine and embossed with Clear Powder then coloured with Alcohol Markers (I used my Spectrum Noir Pens) in pale pinks and lilac and also a soft peach. The leaves have been stamped onto white card and embossed then coloured using Distress Ink.
I glittered the Butterfly by spraying it with Spray and Shine then adding the glitter whilst still wet. A black marker pen was used to colour some of the die cut sign.
Card two is 6x6.
The background panel is black card which has been embossed with Die'sires Floral Frenzy (well I think that's what it's called) then I have added my Gilding wax to highlight the embossing, have to say I'm loving these waxes................
The Hydrangea has been stamped onto white card once with Shaded Lilac and embossed with Clear Powder and again onto white card this time with a Clear ink pad and embossed with White Powder, both images have been painted with Distress Inks. The Leaves have been stamped with Mowed Lawn and embossed in Clear Powder.
I have added a little touch of Stickles Glitter Glue to the centre of the flowers on both cards.
So that's it for now and I will see you all at class : )

Vintage Decorations - Tag Book
Here we go again, this time we are making something a little different not quite a card but more of a keepsake in a box type card if you get my meaning, well anyway you will see what I mean if this darn internet will allow me to show you all as it has been playing up for the last couple of days and now it's driving me mad....... on.....off ......... on ...... off ................ on ................. off ........................... I think you get the gist so I won't dwell on it much lol! SKY....... you....have...a...lot.......to...answer.....................................for!
OK time is short - nowt new I here you cry so I will just tell you what I have used and if we should be so lucky I will even post a photo but don't hold your breath for that one................................
Tag-Book in a box - Had to be Christmas themed so I chose some of the Vintage Christmas embossing folders and a couple of stamps from my stash and went with a pink and wait for it brown colour scheme and it seemed to work. Distress Inks - Worn Lipstick, Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar .Brown memento, Black Versafine and of course some clear embossing powder. You can't have Christmas without a bit of the old Crystal Glitter and a Quickie Glue pen to add the bling factor and to make it a little bit more special I added a touch Spiders Web along with pink and brown ribbon.
Think that's just about it but if I have missed anything out don't worry all will be good on the day : )
Now for the elusive images, cross those fingers and pray.......................................................................
The embossing folder I have used on the front of the box is Vintage Decorations from Crafters Companion.
Forgot to mention the Reindeer stamps are from Creative Expressions and we used them last time in class on the 8x8 cards. Sorry no photo's of the tags but each one is different and there are six of them, three pink and three white.
Hope this has worked and you are all able to see this weeks post.
See you later : )
