Lily revisited - Stamps by Chloe

Hello hope you're all feeling better this week I know quite a few people have been poorly recently and I doubt that the weather has helped much either and right this minute it has just started to throw it down to make matters worse, anyhow not to worry we can all just carry on crafting lol!
So for this week I decided to revisit a couple of stamps that we used last year so some of you might already have them and I think that they are so pretty they deserved another outing but hey I just love ❤ lilies anyway.
For these two cards I have used DISTRESS INKS Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade. Also on the list is Black Versafine and Clear Embossing Powder, a water brush for colouring and I of course added some Stickles Glitter ❇ glue. The box like card has an aperture which I have left blank then you can add any sentiment of your choice or you might want to add some other type of embellishment so I will let you decide what's needed.
We will be heat embossing and cutting out so you may want to bring your own heat tool.

Right think that's just about everything for now so I will see you all soon 😊
p.s. please Mr. Blogger play nice and load my photos without any hassle.

Guess that's not happening today then, WHAT are you playing at ???

Try again and keep smiling 😠

At last thought that they were never going to load but still a couple missing now where have they gone??

Floral Frame by Chloe Designs

Hi to everyone hope you're all keeping warm whilst we are experiencing our wintery weather. I know its darn cold out because it took me ages to de-ice my car and I have to admit that I gave up in the end and came back in to get warm, of course it doesn't help matters when you have a cold and the temperature or should I say the lack of it makes your nose run hence opting for retreating back into the warmth, oh well lets hope tomorrow is a bit better but I'm not holding my breath as that could get a little messy don't you agree lol!
OK this weeks cards have been made by using stamps by Chloe Designs Floral Wreath and Petal Patterned Background.
I have stamped with Black Versafine and embossed in Clear Powder. The flowers have been painted using a water brush and Distress inks then glitter has been added with a Quickie Glue Pen. All in all pretty straight forward just a little cutting out to do ha! ha! cause I know how much you all love ❤ your cutting out.
one card is an 8x8 and the other is a shaped 6x6.

DISTRESS INK PADS
Dusty Concorde
Bundled Sage
Shaded Lilac
Broken China

Versamark
Black Versafine
I also used some colour coordinating Stickles glitter glue and Liquid Pearls for the centres of each cut out flower.
So I think that's just about it.............. Oh unless you want to see what you will be making, now you all know I'm just kidding so I'll say goodbye now and leave you to look at the photos 😁

**2015** Make a Note in it ** Ring Board Book

Here we go, the start of another new year and may I wish everyone a very Happy New Year !
I thought for our first class of 2015 (and I still can't believe how fast it has arrived) that we would do something a little different instead of the usual cards so we will be making a Ring Board Book that could be used for a birthday reminder / calendar note book with a faux leather cover, hope that description makes some sense but all shall be revealed when I show you exactly what I have been up to.
The Ring Board Books come as a set of three in different shapes so you could use them all together as one project or split them into three and make them all different and I must say they are such a fantastic buy and totally inexpensive and I for one would like to make more and give them as gift's maybe instead of those special birthday cards we all have to do on occasion. Well I guess you all would like to see what on earth I'm going on about lol!

Hope you like it!

As you can see I have used the Glycerin mixed in water to wet my Kraft card and this makes it pliable.

Once the Kraft card has been embossed in the folder (and if you have a favorite one you would like to use then by all means bring it with you) then colour is applied using Distress Inks Vintage Photo, Spiced Marmalade and  Seedless Preserves.

In the photo above you can see that I have cut my cover to match the book board, this is done for both the back and front.
The next step is to cover with Spray & Shine and this helps to protect and strengthen and also gives it a real leather look.

The rest of the book is very straightforward I have made 6 pages 2 months per page. Background paper has been used to decorate the inside and a small calendar added for good measure.

Don't know what's going on but I'm having huge trouble with Mr  Blogger today he's not playing nice so me thinks we will have to cut short our post as I have now been trying for hours now and it's going dark.

I used different colours of D I's to stamp the swirl corners on each page, 6 in total you can use any colours you prefer, and wet glue for the inside covers tacky or collall all purpose, I tried both.

You may want to bring your own heat tool as drying time is a little longer than normal.

Typical! First post of the new year and  it's going wrong hope this isn't a sign of things to come 😢

Oh! That's it can't cope any more, it's driving me mad so see you all soon.
PS  if you look at the photo's if they are still showing then you will see what I have used x
Here goes press the publish button and fingers crossed.........
