Sands of Time - Time Flies Donna Ratcliff Designs

Why does it have to be so miserable today?the light is so bad to work in and why does everything go wrong? when you are trying your best to get things finished with plenty of time to spare, well I guess that's just the way it goes so how can you tell that I'm having a bad day !!!!!! Not playing any more need to have a cup of coffee and re-group. Deep breath and start again........
Well hello! lets go back to the start and begin once more. Trying to incorporate a few different techniques this week and I might just regret it later lol! I have used the new stamps from Crafters Companion which are Sands of Time and Time Flies

Chalk Clouds and Bold Blooms

Morning, hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather and it seems a little cooler today which is a good thing because we were all melting in class on Tuesday afternoon and it was quite draining as everyone went home feeling a little tired to say the least and by the time I got in my car it was 28.5° and I could hardly keep hold of the steering wheel lol! It was hot! hot! hot!
Well for this weeks classes I have used the Colour Cloud Chalk inks and a really lovely stamp set from Woodware known as Bold Blooms - Erica, in fact a few weeks ago there was a make and take day at the shop with Karen from Stix2 and she used this stamp set in a couple of her cards, I liked it so I had to buy it as one does don't you know 😁
Thought it would be nice for us to use it in a class so this is what I came up with.........
First on the menu is s 5x7 card and I have coloured the background with the chalk inks, embossed in the Regency Swirl 3D folder then used my Silver wax to highlight.
Distress inks...
Chipped Sapphire
Seedless Preserves
Shaded Lilac
The flowers are stamped and heat embossed in Clear Powder.

I used the Distress inks and Glycerin on Cut n Dry foam to stamp the flowers then Clear powder over to emboss.

Back shortly with card two 😀
Next card is a 7x7
 Colour Clouds....
Blue Lagoon
Sweet Violet
Vanilla Twist
Sweet Apple
 Pixie Powders
Golden Mint
White Pearl

Gold embossing
Powder
Anti Static Bag
Starlight paint Clotted Cream

Small round paint brush to paint in the flowers.

That's it for now see you soon x

Well! Die's, Stamps, Embossing Folder and there's even papers in side the latest edition of the Die Cutting Essentials Magazine and if you haven't guessed by now this is exactly what I have been using for our next gathering of the crafty clan or should I say class this week lol!
Hello there, as you can see I've taken my inspiration from this lovely set of free gifts that come boxed in this Magazine and I am quite impressed I have to say. The dies cut beautifully, the embossing folder is so pretty and so are stamps, very useful indeed!
Here is the first of my interpretations hope you like it.

So I am still working on card number two and I will pop back later this afternoon to show you. I will add more pictures of both cards then 😀

Forgot to tell you that the first card was a 7x7.

This time I have used the Trellis die and stamps.

The only other embellishment added is a little Xcut flower die.

Done for another week, think you could do so much with these freebies like I said the dies cut like a dream and will go with.so many that you already have. Louise still has some magazines available but I bet they won't last long x

Flower Frame - Stamps & Dies by Chloe

Afternoon and Hi!
Can't spend too much time on the post today as I have been suffering all last night and all of today with my back it is driving me nuts right now and I'm waiting for the tablets to kick in so I will tell you about the classes without further ado!
Pretty and floral for our next set of cards, made with this lovely big Flower Frame stamp and some matching dies by Chloe.
Both cards are 7x7 square but I have made them in different colour ways and you could really go to town with this set but given our time in class I haven't gone over board.
So here is a list of products used to make them:
Versamark ink pad
Dark Cherry gilding polish
Silver Embossing powder
Iced Spruce Distress ink
Starlight Wax White Gold
Brilliant Sparkle Sea Turtle embossing powder
Diamond Sparkles Hologram glitter
Glue Pen
That's mostly it I think so I will leave you with a couple of photos and see you soon x

Centura pearl cardstock and a touch of the Dark Cherry Gilding Polish
The Flower frame stamp creates the background and the die cut flowers are layered on top.

Card two is very similar but a slightly different layout and the die cut flowers are made from parchment this time.

This background has been embossed with the Sea Turtle Powder.

Sorry not the best photos but still better than none I guess x
