Christmas Creative Stamping - with - Phil Martin Stamps

Afternoon Folks just here to do a quick post for this week, correct me if I'm wrong but is it exactly 4 weeks from today until 🎅Christmas Day? how did that happen ?
As the big day is fast approaching I have gone with this lovely set of stamps that came with a Creative stamping magazine and boy is there a lot to choose from on this A4 set.
Spoiled for choice I decided upon a couple of the smaller ones and a larger one and I also chose to keep the cards simple and clean looking,  hope that worked out lol!
I have used........
Sentimentality Yours Silhouette Scenes stamp set
Clear ink pad
Gold embossing powder
Black Versafine
Clear embossing powder
Torn Circles Gemini nesting dies
Clear Sparkle pen
Quickie Glue pen
Harmony
Blending inks.......
Pale Fig
Baby Blue
Grasshopper
Pine Tree
Anti Static Bag
Tri blend pens......
Dark red blend
Earth Brown blend
That's just about it, except for the Robin stamp which I have used from my stash simply because it was just the right size and its from a set called British Garden Birds rspb.
So all that remains is a couple of photos and here they are..................

 7x7 Card

Red Glitter glue
Red Tonic Nuvo Drops

Glue pen and
Wow Glitter
6x6 Card
Sorry this photo makes the card look like it has been coloured but trust me its white on the front
Just looked out of my window it has gone really dark outside and it's only 3.45 in the afternoon which means I've been working since 9.30 this morning better go and check on Willow and see if she is still friends with me lol! 🐕
See you later x

Something a little different. Gemini Mini Album

Hi! Sorry its been a little while since I last posted but most of you will already be aware that I have not been well for a few weeks but hopefully I'm on the better side of it now although that stinker of a cough just won't leave me alone so I'll just have to carry on until it fades away, hope you are all well by the way!
Thought we could try making something a bit different this week and I know some of you have already invested in the Gemini Mini Album Die sets so I have aimed the classes around putting one of the Albums together which you will then be able to fill it as you see fit, it might be that you will want to keep it yourself or maybe make it up with someone else in mind and you might like to give it to them.
If you have any ideas as to how you would like your album to look i.e. colour, theme etc or if you have any paper pads you wish to use then please do bring them along with you, you might find that a paper trimmer useful also and the usual tools plus Red Liner tape. Tacky glue and Collall All purpose glue if you have them
Well I'm looking forward to see what you all come up with and hopefully we will get them finished in time ready for you to take home and put in all the finishing touches......
See you soon x
No photos as yet, mine need finishing  and are on hold as I have a demo this coming Saturday so the sample making takes priority I am working with the new Fairy Garden collection and the 12x12 pad is Beautiful in fact it would be amazing in one of the albums
Laters! X

Two Jay's SNOWMAN. ana SANTA'S the Word

Hiya! Thought I would stay in the Christmas mode for this week so I have gone with this happy little chappie smiling Snowman stamp from Two Jay's Stamp Co. and put him together with a lovely Winter Trees scene embossing folder by Sheena and although the cards are of a festive nature the embossing folder can be used all year round. I couldn't help myself I just had to use one of the Christmas Top Word dies from Crafters Companion and of course a couple of the stamps from the Fantasy Forest set (Enchanted Christmas)
I also used ......
Stormy Sky DI or Harmony Baby Blue
Chipped Sapphire or Harmony Midnight
Harmony Pumice and Smoked Pearl
Black Versafine or Archival
Alcohol pens  Black, Red and Blue
Glossy accents and Crystal glitter
Red Glitter glue
Finger Daubers
Glue pen
The cards are 6x6 5x7 in size
Not good photos I'm afraid as the light has been terrible today but you get the idea.

He is such a happy little Chap
I  have used some Black Glitter card from one of the Luxury Card Packs
Such a pity you can't see it properly in the photo
I added a tiny touch of the new Blue Pearl Opal polish to the blue background panel

There may not be a chance to get any more Christmas cards done before the season is upon us but who knows we shall have to wait and see.
See you soon x

From Foxgloves to Autumn

Hi, what a day. Better late than never and it was going so well, should have known something would come along to delay me just when I had managed to get things sorted out early for once, oh well!
Two very different cards for this week but both from one set of rather lovely stamps and when you see them at class I think you will agree. Not going into much detail right now because it is quite late in the day so instead I will give you a look at the cards.
Black Versafine ink pad
Versamark ink pad
White embossing powder
Clear embossing powder
Anti Static Bag
Harmony ink pads......
Winter Rose
Crushed Velvet
Spring Meadow
Grasshopper
Pine Tree
Orange
Bordeaux
Glitter Kiss Fire Red
Opal Polish Gilded Apricot
Blending tools
If you want to bring your pens to colour the images instead of painting them with the ink pads then feel free to do so
I have used a touch of White Gesso on the tag and the cardboard
The only thing I didn't have to finish this card was some ribbon in a suitable colour so hopefully there may be some at the shop, I will have a look in the morning

Don't forget if you click on the photos you will be able to see them in more detail
Don't think I mentioned that the stamp set is an A4 sheet of clear stamps  that came with the Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine issue 193 maybe you might want one 🤔😉 lol!!! See you soon x

Two Jay's - Winter Scenes

Good afternoon hope everyone is well this is just a quick post this week I seem to have less time than ever so I tell you what's on offer for the next set of classes............
Two Jay's being the name of a New Stamp Company feature in the next couple of cards I have made which we will be doing in class, although they are Winter related they can be both Birthday and Christmas so that's useful wouldn't you say.
Now although I have made three different cards we might only get time to do two of them so let's just wait and see.
Two are 5x7 in size and the third is a 6x6.
I have used the Perfect Poinsettia dies from CC Sara's previous collection, and the Wreath die set from the new Enchanted Christmas collection which I always enjoy making.   The Poinsettia flower is made from Foam and coloured with ink pads.
(a red and a green)
Black Versafine
Enchanted Christmas Stencils (Stars and Birch Forest)
Harmony ink pads Midnight...Smoked Pearl...Grasshopper...Pine Tree
Metallic Pigment Silver
Stormy Sky Distress ink pad
Archival Watering Can ink pad
Clear embossing powder
Glitter glue
Leaf die from Peony Collection
Fluffy Stuff
Finger Daubers
Black Stazon ink pad
If there's anything I've forgotten to list then I'll add it later
Ok photos.......

Both cards have mat and layers using the Gemini Torn Edge layering dies Rectangles and Circles

The little stamped image on this card is a stamp from my stash, Two Jay's do some very similar but I didn't have one to use at the time and this was the only one I could fit inside the wreath.

Christmas Box. Create a card Dies

Good morning folks, hope you're all feeling well and for those of you who are not we are sending get well wishes for you to feel better soon x
Here as requested by quite a few of you who wanted to make the sample box I did for demo day with the new Create a card Dies then you will be pleased to hear that's what's on offer for you this week. Please be aware that colours may vary depending upon stock availability.
I will mention that if anyone has any of the dies then please bring them along with you this will cut down on waiting time and if you wish to bring your own Poinsettia dies (I used the set from Sara's Poinsettia Perfection rang) then that's fine also.
For the colouring of the Acetate panels that are behind the die cut panels I used my Alcohol inks Red Pepper and Bottle (green) and my felt pads with the blending tools.
To add some colour into the background of the box I sponge red and green Starlight paints however I didn't know this little project was going to be a class so we don't have enough of that paint for you all to use so this will be substituted  on the day same or very similar colours just a different product.
Other Stuff!
Tacky glue
Red liner tape
Gold Gilding polish
Rich Red Gilding polish
Gold Gilding Wax
Red and a green ink pad (to colour Poinsettia)
That should just about be it for now, I have a couple of photos but they are not the best so if I can I will try and get some better ones later  😀
See you soon TTFN X

Design Your Own Enchanted Christmas

Okay so what happened to the sun🌞 I'd like to know ? It's quite wet outside today and I'm sure that the gardens will appreciate it at least but never mind I've been busy this morning making some different backgrounds to give the class ladies some ideas and inspiration to create their own at class.
Since we had our Demo Day on Saturday just gone featuring Sara's Enchanted Christmas Collection I have continued with the theme for our classes and you will be in charge of composing your own Christmas Scene I've just made a couple of cards and panel images as a guide for you to choose a layout to go with so if you have a favourite colour you can bring ink pads of your choice if you wish to do so.
I have also used the 3D Tree's Embossing folder for s 5x7 card again you choose which colour to make it in.
Below is a list of things I used :
Blending Ink Pads..... Harmony or Distress inks

Blending tools
Stamping pad
Blending Mat
Stickles Glitter Glue
9cm (3.5 inch) Gel printing plate
Purple Brusho powder
Brayer
Spectrum Noir Midas Silver ink pad

5x7 Card
Sentiment from the Word Dies and Stamp set

Here are a couple of different layouts
The colours I used were mostly Purples and Pale Fig

All about Snowflakes

Yet another wet Wednesday, hope you are all well and have managed to stay dry, at least I've stayed in in today and worked on our class cards for tomorrow and as the title suggests it's all about the white stuff so to speak except they aren't all necessarily white well not on my cards at least.. I have chosen to use the new Snowflake Flourish Create a card die and also the Paper Boutique Snowflake Frame die one of which I have turned into a shaker card, see if you can tell which one it is lol!

Starlight Paints
Silver
Cyclamen
Glue Pen
Cut n Dry Foam

The paint is put onto the acetate to create a background
I have die cut the create a card die and a selection of different sizes of Snowflakes
As you may of guessed this is the shaker card but it isn't glued down yet because I need to add the shaker bits for inside when I find them lol!
This is a 5x7 card base
I will add another photo when it's finished and also one of the other card which is a 7x7.
Sorry rubbish photos had to rush them this morning but you get an idea in the first one what the Paper Boutique dies are like

Shaker card now completed
