Hi! If you've read the title then that can only mean one thing folks YES! it's the "C" word in June!!!! Lol! Thought it might be time to throw in a Christmas card or two seen as it seems to be popping up everywhere at the moment and what better than to start with this delightful Natures Garden "Poinsettia Perfection" from Sara.
It's very Traditional but can be made into something quite pretty if that's what you prefer.
Once again Stamps plus dies so no cutting out you will be pleased to hear.
Two cards, 5x7 and a 6x6, kept them both in a more traditional style. Here's a recipe list...
Clear embossing ink pad
White Embossing powder
A selection of Green blending ink pads
Red ink pad
Harmony Sandstone blending ink pad
Black Versafine
Anti Static Bag
Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish
Grande Poinsettia die set
Lantern die and stamp set
Scroll die and stamp set
I also used a couple of the stamps that came as the free gift in one of Chloe's Christmas magazine, we have used this set before in class
Green Glitter Kiss
Think that about sums it up for now
See you soon

IZINK DIAMOND - Glitter Paints - Tres Bon !
No time for chit chat today sorry got too much of a work load to get through before Sunday and I know some of you are waiting to see what our class is going to be for this week well I can tell you I have just tried out the Wonderful Izink Diamond Glitter paints along with a set of stencils by John Next Door aka John Lockwood. I for one am very impressed with these glitter paints they are very versatile, easy to use and dry really quick so 10/10 from me.
As we will be using the stencils which come as a set of 4 (and measure almost 6" square) you might want to bring your low tack tape suitable to use with them.
I have also used my blending inks (water based)
Pink
Grasshopper (mid green)
Smoked Emerald (darker blue/green)
Honey Pot (wild honey)
Crushed Velvet (purple)
Ocean blue (salty ocean)
Lagoon (dark green/turquoise)
Black Versafine
Tri blend pens (greens/turquoise)
The stamp set we used with the Humming bird which came with the last Inspiration magazine
Blending tools and finger daubers
Lavender Blue Opal polish
Stickles glitter glue
Think that just about covers most of it, one Humming bird card done just waiting for the Peacock to dry before I put it together
See you soon x

Something Old School and Something New - For Jane and Hunkydory
Hi ! I'm a little later than I wanted to be but like they say "better late than never" it's just been one of those stupid days when nothing is going your way.
So! I will be quick and tell you just incase you're wondering about the Title....... Old School for the lovely lady that was Jane Nesterenko who had such a talent and left us too soon, she was a whizz with the Medallion Stamps so hence the old school references I have chosen this lovely little Wood Mounted Stamp for something a little different to our norm lol! Kept this one very simple as some of you may not have seen or even tried these before or at least for many years like me, God Bless Jane ❤
That would be our first card in the offering the next is of the same theme but simplified as it comes ready foiled and die cut in the form of a die cut paper crafting pad from Hunkydory.
Silver Glitter Kiss
Blending ink pads (different colours)
Blending tools
GLUE PEN or
Dries Clear Glue
Fine Glitters (if you have colours you would like to use then bring them with you)
Heat gun
Anti Static Bag
Black Versafine
Clear powder
Tweezers are useful
As we will be glittering quite a bit on both cards I found that the Glue Pen to be the better option as it dries quicker than the glue but both work.
So it's like Old meets New let's see what you think
Traditional Medallion stamping
Photos are rubbish as you can't see the sparkle of the different glitters
Looks much nicer in real time
New style
Ready die cut, just pop out of the pad and colour up
Layer together and hey presto!!
The layers come in Gold and Silver Foil
Also there are plain black ones in the pad plus a variety of Sentiments to match
Both cards are 6x6 in size
Both Medallion cards but two totally different styles
Going off to see if I can find suitable Sentiments now, see you all soon x
