Good afternoon folks hope you're having a muck better day than I am, would you believe it took from early this morning to nearly lunchtime to find just one set of stamps that I had decided to use on my second card for our classes this week. I must possess dozens and dozens of snowflake stamps which I must confess I'm a bit of an addict but could I even find one........... No not one!! I drove myself mad looking, eventually I managed to find a set Hooray I can finish the card I started last night and get started on some samples for my demo at the weekend as it has all been changed as from TODAY Yikes!! and I really do need to get cracking so to speak....... But........ as I set everything up to take the photo's for you all to see what you will be making my camera on my tablet decided it wasn't going to work, it kept on telling me Oooops! Something has gone wrong! Just what I don't need right now a trip to see the O2 Guru to get it sorted this me thinks is down to the upgrade to Windows 10 Blooming thing!!!!!!
So we will be doing class, we will be using the Bird Blossom stamps from Stampendous and you will get a photo even though it won't be the best quality as I have had to use my phone and that's another camera with bad attitude and only works when it feels like it, right enough said here goes fingers crossed......
Two cards for this week both 7x7
The background, flowers and bird have been coloured using Shaded Lilac, Shabby Shutters, Gathered Twigs Distress inks , Rose Blush, Decadent Denim, Spectrum Aqua Pens Lime, Rose Pink, Heather and Tan.
Black Versafine and Clear Powder.
Fine paint brush.
Blending eggs.
Foam tape.
Clear Day Colour Cloud blending ink.
I have made the second card into a Christmas design as I thought this set works well for lots of different styles and could be used for and seasons just by changing the colour scheme.
In case you can't really see the elusive snowflakes are part of the background panel.
I added some of the Stampendous Chunky White Embossing Enamel from the Fran-tag entrusted jewel kit to give a bit more texture.
The snowflakes are from my (put away in a safe place) stash bad I stamped them with Memento Summer Sky ink pad.
Just had to mention He is such a cute little birdie x
The bird has been coloured with my Aqua pens and a paint brush and I used Peacock blue, Teal, Tan and some Evergreen on the leaves.
Clear Crystal Sparkle pen and Diamond Stickles glitter glue
to highlight.
Both sentiments are from my stash so you could bring your own if you wish to do so.
Well it's been one long day which would have been done and dusted early this morning if it wasn't for those carefully put away Snowflake stamps lol!
See you soon x

I absolutely love these cards Sheilagh. Both so different. Beautiful colours on the first one and as you know anything with snowflakes I love. This stamp is a definite one to cover all occasions.
