3D for Christmas

Hi all! So late today been a bit of a struggle but finally got there in the end. Been playing with the new 3D Christmas Embossing folders from Crafters Companion that I was demoing at the weekend at Inspirations Preston and can I just say Hi! and a huge thank you to everyone who came to see me xxx
I will speed things up as time is slipping away so we shall be using the beautiful Village scene this week to create a couple of lovely cards with very little effort and this is exactly what these folders do for you.

Clear Ink Pad
White Embossing Powder
Silver Gilding Wax
Antique Gold Gilding Wax
King Gold Gilding Wax
White Gel Pen
Cut n Dry foam

This actual design is very useful because it works for any season just by changing the colours and card stock.
See what you think...........
Each card is A5 in size.
Just added a die cut poinsettia and sentiment.
This one is made from black card.
Gold Centura Pearl card one of the new shades from the Precious Golds collection.
Three colours of the Pebeo Gilding Wax.

Sneak peek at the none Christmas card version 😁
Not quite finished yet.

Raid Your Stash Day ! Parchment Re-Visited

Good afternoon, didn't think I would actually get to share with you all this week as I'm in the process of making lots of Christmas samples for my demo this coming Saturday and by yesterday I was almost tearing my hair out whilst trying to figure out what on earth we could do in class that wasn't anything to do with the C word as we had visited that season last week. Soooooo! I decided to go right off piste and go with something that was literally a Luck Dip! right out of my stash so to speak, so please forgive me as we have probably made something similar in the past but this time I decided we should make a card with a matching box to put it in.
As you will see I have used my own flower stamps so they won't be available in the shop (sorry 😞)
The flowers have been stamped in CLEAR INK and Embossed in WHITE POWDER, there is something so pretty about flowers made from parchment don't you think?
I coloured the flowers with my Spectrum Noir pens in Pink and Light Green.
The background is Small Dots Embossing Folder.
Do bear in mind when you look at the photos that I haven't quite finished them both off yet, they need a little more titivation so to speak so I've not stuck any of the flowers down and there is no sentiment but here is where I'm up to............
By the way I know that you all will have many different Flower stamps and Dies in your own stash so this will be easy for you to make at home.........

Versamark.
White Embossing Powder.
Alcohol Pens.
6x6 Card and Box

I will post more photos once I have finished them both as I need to add something into the centres of each flower.
See you later x
OK so here the finished artical or should I say Box and Card. Pleased to say everyone enjoyed making them 😁 x

Frozen Forest - Craftwork Cards

CHRISTMAS!!!! There I said it ha! Nuts! that's what you are all thinking, well not quite all of you as I know oh too well that many a true card maker starts their xmas card making in this our Summer season. What Summer? I hear you exclaim! Its not too bad outside at the moment the rain hasn't hit yet but I'm not holding my breath it's in the forecast so we shall see.
Next for our classes we shall be using this lovely paper and topper collection from Craftwork Cards entitled Frozen Forrest.
To create these cards I have chosen to use my Circle Swing card die from Crafters Companion and a few of my Snowflake dies, here are the other ingredients :-
White Gesso
Small Stippling brush
Glue Pen
Glitter
Chipped Sapphire
Memento Nautical Blue ink pad
Moonstone Sparkle Pen
White Gel Pen

I stippled the white Gesso arround the edges of the die cut paper panels. I have also added panels to the other side which I have stamped snowflakes onto with the Memento ink pad.
The white panels on this card have been embossed in a folder.
Click on the image to enlarge.

I have only used one small part of the beautiful paper from the 8x8 pad.
You might notice that there are three different cards, I have included the picture of this one to show that it doesn't have to be just Christmas as I have made this card as a Winter Birthday with Flower Dies instead of the Snowflakes.

I used one of the animal toppers from the pack because I thought he looked cute but you could easily use a die cut or maybe a stamped image instead.
See you very soon x
