Frozen Forest - Craftwork Cards

CHRISTMAS!!!! There I said it ha! Nuts! that's what you are all thinking, well not quite all of you as I know oh too well that many a true card maker starts their xmas card making in this our Summer season. What Summer? I hear you exclaim! Its not too bad outside at the moment the rain hasn't hit yet but I'm not holding my breath it's in the forecast so we shall see.
Next for our classes we shall be using this lovely paper and topper collection from Craftwork Cards entitled Frozen Forrest.
To create these cards I have chosen to use my Circle Swing card die from Crafters Companion and a few of my Snowflake dies, here are the other ingredients :-
White Gesso
Small Stippling brush
Glue Pen
Glitter
Chipped Sapphire
Memento Nautical Blue ink pad
Moonstone Sparkle Pen
White Gel Pen

I stippled the white Gesso arround the edges of the die cut paper panels. I have also added panels to the other side which I have stamped snowflakes onto with the Memento ink pad.
The white panels on this card have been embossed in a folder.

I have only used one small part of the beautiful paper from the 8x8 pad.
You might notice that there are three different cards, I have included the picture of this one to show that it doesn't have to be just Christmas as I have made this card as a Winter Birthday with Flower Dies instead of the Snowflakes.

I used one of the animal toppers from the pack because I thought he looked cute but you could easily use a die cut or maybe a stamped image instead.
See you very soon x
Sheilagh.
