Winter With Snowflakes & Flowers

Good morning to all the sun is out and so is the washing, I'm making the most of it while it last's lol!
After making a card for a class with my Dawn 005 stamp I decided to use her again for a winters themed easel card, I stamped the background panels with a snowflake stamp onto cream card and embossed with Wow white embossing powder, distressed edges with Mahogany Distress Ink pad, die cut snowflakes, flowers, ribbon, lace and other bits and bob's from stash and of course coloured with my Promarkers, a bit of Glamour Dust and hey presto! card done.

Hope everyone has a good day : )

P.S. I want to send special hugs to my friend Christine as she received some bad news this week, I am thinking of you and all of your friends are too, just wanted to let you know, chin up chuck! see you at the week-end..xx

The Class of Paint Fusioneers

Thought I might as well share with you a couple of photos that I took during the all day class which took place at the shop on Saturday. The  morning session of Fusioneers to be,  started the day by perfecting their crackle  background technique and then moved on to stamping  the Holly and using the painting techniques taught to them by our very own Barbara a lovely lady who has been to a few of  Sheen's workshops in order to learn from the master herself!
Don't they all look very productive!

Lunch break is now over and the afternoon session is in full swing....
Everyone is concentrating on their brush strokes, this time they made a background and then stamped and painted the Christmas Tree's to create a winter scene.
In the end an enjoyable day was had by all, much laughter, tea coffee and cake...yum! and every one of our ladies did a really good job with their projects, especially Barbara  who managed to keep them under control....well done you...and thank you :)

Lorna No. 1

Hello to everyone this fairly reasonable Sunday well the washing is out anyway lets hope it dries!
I made a card this week for my Daughter-in-law's birthday....Lorna no.1 Let me explain I have two daughter-in-laws both called Lorna hence the no.1 and of course you guessed it there is a no.2 as well lol, enough babble,  here are a couple of pics of the card I made for her...(Lorna no.1)......

I have stamped the Sarah Kay image in
Memento Ink and coloured in with Promarkers, the background papers are from Craftwork Cards, ribbon and flowers from stash, Woodware punch for the leaves, pink crystals and card candi. The main panel is cut with a Spellbinders Die

Hope you like it Lorna and by the way Happy Birthday : )

Leave it to The Last Minute!

Hope you are not all too wind swept this morning although it seems to be good weather for kites lol :) Well a little too windy perhaps.
My lovely daughter asked me if I could make a wedding card because her boss had given her and some of the girls who work together an evening invitation to the wedding, I replied "Yes I could do that for you" when is it?
"Saturday" she answered "Which Saturday"? was my next question "THIS Saturday" was her answer. The conversation we just had was on Thursday evening around nine-ish and I was tempted to say No Chance then, but before I got to open my mouth my lovely daughter added and make it a GOOD ONE wont you!!!! and left.... The cheek of it!!  So here is what I came up with....

Sorry the photo's are a little dark but it was all very much last minute  : (

Ladies who Craft

Good morning to one and all, and so fitting to be a Sunday for a special day of remembrance to all who lost their lives ten years ago in the 9/11 tragedy..... God Bless.

This morning I thought I would share a couple of photo's with you that I took during yesterday mornings class,
here we have two of our lovely ladies getting to grips with some Distress stains and Distress Ink pads whilst making a tag to go onto their cards.
This is Barbara who comes every Tuesday to our club morning and she also teaches classes for us using Sheena's Paint Fusion techniques. Barbara has just started her own blog so you can pop over and take a peek at her work.

Work in progress........

Card completed..... Good job Barbara

This is Sue one of our regular customers who comes to a class every week, coffee is most important and needed during the class as it keeps Sue going lol :)

Good and messy, this means Sue is working hard and enjoying herself as she doesn't mind getting her fingers covered in ink.

Satisfaction and a card!

I have to say there's never a dull moment in our classes and by the way you do look pleased with yourself Sue! xx
