Blousy Poppy - John Next Door 🌺

Hi! Just thought I would give you a little snippet, a cheeky sneak peek, a heads up if you like on the classes for this week and next week.  Some of you may already have bought this stamp and die set from Mr.J L
aka Jonn Next Door, so why not bring thm along.
7x7 card not put it together yet so still a work in progress but it gives you sort of an idea as to what we will be working towards.

The waxes I have used are from Imagination Crafts with some Cut n Dry Foam
The beautiful Frame die is also from Mr. L and is called Oakham Lattice which works perfectly with his Box Frame die which we used a couple of weeks ago
So back later with more details......
I'm back with a couple of pics of both cards finished now, I added a few die cuts to thec 6x6 card using the Elderflower die from John's range.........

Two colours of pink Alchemy Wax on the embossed background

Pumice stone and turquoise are the colours I chose for our second card with just a hint of purple on the flower

Foam tape
Dries Clear Glue
Hot Glue gun
And a couple of dye based ink pads not to mention the dies and matching stamps, loving Mr. L's frame die 👌👍

See you all soon x

Bird on a Branch.... - ....Perfect Partners

Hi! Going to be speedy Gonzalez this week and get straight to the important stuff as I've had quite enough for today and yesterday was rather a bad day on the whole, the other half went to work early and ended up in hospital with Kidney stones no less but they took him to Warrington and I had a class so I was waiting for updates all day.  He was allowed home after being there for around 14 hours
So you can imagine he wasn't a happy bunny but at least he's feeling better today.
Enough of that now  let's concentrate on the class for this week.....
Two cards and they are both 7x7 size.

This card is using the stamp set
Click on the photo and you will get a better look at the background I made with a little ink and the Pixie Powders

This card is using the Die

I have used 2 of my Pixie powders GOLDEN MIST & MANGO BLAZE.
Ink pads.....
Weathered Wood
Frayed Burlap
Gathered Twigs
Pink, Emerald & Yellow IZINKS
Silver Gilding Wax
I used the Perfect Partners Die and Stamp set Bird on a Branch by Sheena.
There! Short and Sweet, see you all soon 🐦

Enchanting - from Sara's Enchanted Forest Collection

Hey there! Didn't think I would be able to make it this week but here I am, well! only just. Had a terrible weekend with tremendous pain in my hip and lower back which started in the early hours of Friday morning, took all kinds of pain relief but nothing would touch it, I had to cancel my demo for Saturday which was unheard of and I was devastated at letting such lovely people down but I just couldn't stand with all the pain.  I have now seen my doctor and have an appointment for xrays on Monday. It's all due to the  Rheumatoid arthritis which has contributed to horrible inflammation in my hip, Oh! the Joy's of getting older.........Not!!!!
Well I have had to decide on something that hasn't been too difficult or lengthy for me to come up with so I have decided to go with the 4x4 card dies that I showed during our last Demo day at the shop from the Enchanted Forest Collection by Sara Davies and of course I teamed them up with Gilding Flakes, Inks and Gilding Wax along with a few other little bits and pieces including a small sampling of a technique called Caught-in-Crystal which I really hope we will have enough time to do, we shall have to wait and see as there can be a lengthy drying time involved with this, fingers crossed.
I have used the dies and one of the embossing folders to create a small but beautiful box.
Izink Pink ink pad and Gold Gilding Wax
Scissors
Tacky glue

Here's a photo of two of the card dies from the Collection
If you have one of the dies and you would like to use it then bring it with you by all means

Sorry don't have a photo to show you as the card and box are at the shop

I will have to add them to this p later on when I get chance to take photos of them.
See you soon x
