Traditional Peony - in a basket

Hello, just letting you know what I  have made for class this week and I decided to stick with the theme from our demo last Friday and by the way a BIG THANK YOU to all you lovely ladies that came to see us, it was a very enjoyable day. The new Peony collection and the Layering Stamps with the Quick Dry inks were being shown on the day so I have gone with a set of stamps and dies from each range.
I have used the Peony layering stamps and die set for a 7x7 card very similar to one of my samples that seemed to be popular in fact here is a photo to remind you
I have remade the card just using different colours and I'm leaving the Sentiment up to you, if you bought any of the stamps and inks then bring them along by all means.
I decided to try it in the pink colours, so these flowers have been stamped in the light pink, medium and the the dark to create each layer then die cut with the matching flower die, so clever!
For card two I used the Perfect Peony set, decided to make a little basket for them to sit in, think this one would make a good Easter card or even a Mother's day card but there's not much time left to do that one lol!
The basket is Mink Centura Pearl card embossed in a 3D folder and Renaissance  Gilding wax applied, think it worked okay see what you think.......
Black Versafine
Small round paint brush.
I added a line of Crystal Glitter glue around the edges of the smaller panel.

I have used a couple of colours from the ink pads to paint each flower, so pink,  reds yellow, orange and of course greens for the leaves. Just needs the right sentiment now.
See you soon folks x

Nothing New but Something Different

Hello! No time for chit chat today sorry I'm so busy trying to get things finished for Demo day, and I suppose you all know by now but for those of you who don't it will be on Friday and not the Saturday as normal.
Had to do something a bit quick today for our class and of course because I needed it to be quick its taken most of the afternoon to finally get something finished so I do hope you will forgive me as I have used the same but none the less Beautiful stamps and Dies from the Peony collection that we used last class but with a totally different look.
Both cards are 5x7
Black Versafine
Clear Powder
A couple of shades of Purple ink pads,
The new Cut n Emboss Folder from the Peony collection
One of the Torn Hearts Nesting dies
Two of the new 3D Embossing folders
I have taken a couple of photos but the flowers need a little something in the centres to finish them off properly, and I couldn't resist throwing in a touch of my new Opal polish just for good measure ❤ lol..........
See you later x
The Lattice Frame die is also from the Peony collection

It seems I have added a cheeky butterfly from said collection
as well

Bit of old and a Bit of new

Hey a little later than normal today but just got finished so here I have touched on something towards Demo day (New) which is on FRIDAY 22nd of this month and added in a bit of something from past classes (Old) which I think some of you have already bought when we used them last time, thrown in a couple of ink pad colours and Voila! two cards two different looks.
Ink Pads
Dusty Concord
Chipped Sapphire
Cracked Pistachio
Izinks
Orange
Yellow
Black Versafine
Clear Powder
Spectrum Noir Midas Gold
Versamark clear
White Embossing Powder
That's mostly it all, the stamps and dies are all from the New Peony Range except for the John next door Dragonfly die set which I couldn't resist using once more, hope you like them

The background has been embossed in one of the new CC 3D folders  I have used Centura Pearl Hint of Gold and the Gold Midas ink pad to highlight

I added a tiny touch of the Blue Parakeet Opal polish to give an iridescent look but it really doesn't show up well in the photos

See you soon x

Ranunculaceous Shrubs ๐ŸŒบ PEONIES ๐ŸŒบ in 3D. Embossing Folder

Hello, back again for this week's class and thought we could do something a little less strenuous and simple for a change so I came up with these cards using the Beautiful 3D Embossing Folder from Sara's Parisian collection which ties in perfectly with the newest release from CC which just happens to be called Natures Garden - Peony collection which by the way I will be demoing on the 22nd of this month in the shop (in case you don't already know it's Crafty knits in CHORLEY)
So cards for class and what you might want to bring......
