A Touch of Glamour

Hi all! Just come back from greenhouse duties so I feel glad that everything green has had plenty to drink and remains green, for how long I really couldn't say lol!
Now onto this weeks classes, so you might think OK there is a fair bit of die cutting to be done but last nights class did fine but I should mention we did have three dies on the go to begin with and I should also tell you that we used the new edge'ables that came free with the latest addition of the Inspiration magazine and they cut so well! So if you have already got yours you just might want to bring it along and save on waiting time to use the die.
I teamed it up with one of the new 3D Embossing Folders from C.C. Regency Swirl.
I absolutely love these folders!!😊 Card one is a gate fold card and I embellished with a couple of butterflies and of course some of my Pebeo Gold Gilding Wax and Abandoned Coral Distress ink.
The next card is definitely the Glamour with the very Elegant lady and Venetian Mirror dies from Sara's new Signature Collection.  The only other elements added to this creation was Black Soot Distress ink and a rather nice embossing folder that came from Xcut I think but I shall have to check on that fact as I'm not 100% sure so if it is wrong I will let you know.
Well a short list of requirements but a little more in the way of die cutting ha! ha! I know you will forgive me once your cards are complete. Two very nice birthday cards but could be used for so many different occasions.
Sorry no photos as yet we did the cards in class last night and left them there I only thought about photos when I got home so I can't take any till class on Thursday so I will add them later  πŸ˜
See you soon x

Bee 🐝 Happy - Woodware

Hi! Beautiful morning here, blue skies and sunny so what the heck am I doing indoors when I should be out enjoying the sun or at least digging on my allotment cause it certainly needs it lol!
Good job I have got things in order ready for the next classes so that means I can go spend some time out in the fresh air this afternoon but I'm not sure how much digging there will be.
Speaking of 🐝🐝🐝's (hope you all can see the graphics I have inserted, if not they are meant to be bee's) which is the nature of our theme for our next classroom meeting.
BEE HAPPY is the stamp set from Woodware which I have used on this cute little Pocket Pull Out Tag Card along with the latest new range of Chalk Cloud Blending Inks which by the way are now available in the shop.
There are quite a lot of ellements to this project so we might only have enough time to do this one but if it goes quicker than ecpected we shall make a 6x6 card using the same images we shall just have to see what happens on the day.
Lets have a look at what I used........

Here are a few things that I used, please ignore the colour of the main image as I decided to change it as you will see.
You can see that the card is inside the pocket.

Black Versafine
Clear powder

Gold Glitter Kiss
Now you can see the different colours I chose as I thought these worked better together.
Flowers coloured with my pencils, background coloured with the chalk inks.

Happy birthday die is from Sara's new Glamour range.
Pull the ribon and the tag will pop out at the top and bottom of the little pocket.

I have used my Clear Sparkle pen to colour the bee's.
Mini stencil from Creative Expressions.

Once again the photos don't look half as good as the actual finished project.

See you soon x

Marguerite Patch - Woodware

Good Morning! Hope it's bright and sunny where you are, we have some lovely sunshine here today lets hope it will last for a while cause I really do need to pay a visit to my greenhouse as it is looking rather neglected and I so have to get a move on and sort it out.
For our next set of classes I thought that I would be kind and give you something that will be nice and easy and relaxing to do so no die cutting just a little stamping and colouring well actually painting using the delightful Starlight Paints and a couple of the Spectrum Sparkle pens and Voila! Two simple yet pretty cards.
So! One stamp which comes from the Clear Magic range by Woodware and has the name Marguerite Patch.
I have used my Black Versafine and Clear embossing powder on the 7x7 card and my Clear Versamark ink and White embossing powder on the 6x6 Kraft card.
Hope you like them..........

Starlight Paint
 (Imagination Crafts)
Pearl
Diamond
Silver
Green
Sparkle pens from the Vintage set by Crafters Companion.
The flower has also been stamped onto Parchment and cut out then added as an extra layer.
This is the 6x6 card and is from the new Kraft card & envelope packs which Louise sells in the shop.
The background has been made with the sparkle pens painted onto card with a wet paint brush.

Might add a die cut sentiment later.
The photo does not do the card justice!
You can't really see the super effects of the Starlight paint you will have to enlarge the photo to get a better view.
Don't forget to bring a small round paint brush. See you soon x
