Potting Shed - Bring your Wellington Boots

Hello! The Potting Shed from Craftwork Cards, this is the lovely 8x8 double sided paper pad that features in our next card classes along with the Colour Me Die Cut Topper Tag pad and a couple of stamps and embossing folders to complete the mix.

Gathered Twigs
Shaded Lilac

Black Versafine
Black Memento
Clear Powder
Clear Sparkle Pen
Glue Pen
Crystal Glitter
Heather Gilding Polish

 Pen colours.

As you can see in both photos here I have used some of my Spectrum Noir pens to colour parts of the wellington which I have made using a template.

This is an 8x8 card.

The background is embossed with the A4 Honeycomb folder and the little plant marker was embossed in the Wood grain Texture folder.
Both cards are still waiting for a sentiment but I just haven't decided on any yet so they look a bit unfinished, will sort them out later before class.

This card is A5
As you might of already noticed I have used the flower stamp from Leonie's Dragonfly set.

The little bumblebee is from a Woodware stamp set that I will be using in the near future called Bee Happy.
Ok lets see who is paying attention, you will need to bring a pencil to draw out your template. Can't wait for class now just to see how many of you have read to the end of this post lol!!
See you soon x

Create in Colour - Fly Free

Afternoon, hope everyone is feeling well. Thought this week I would make things a little more colourful just to cheer every body up. I have chosen a few colours of Distress inks to make the background on our first card for this week which is  by the way 8x8, and thrown into the mix is one of Sheena Douglass's new 8x8 Stencils called Take Your Leaf. As per usual the photos don't do the cards justice. Also used on both cards are the new stamps from Leonie Pujol and Woodware.
Leonie's is Fly Free and the Woodware one is Netting Background.
After making an early start this morning and then having  a major disaster right near the finish of my first card, so having to start from scratch it has taken me twice as long to complete both cards, was not a happy bunny I can tell you and I don't even have the cat to blame this time ☹
Well I got there in the end so lets see what you think.......

Distress Ink Pads.
Ripe Persimmon
Festive Berries
Mustard Seed
Picked Radpberry
Peacock Feathers
Forest Moss
Peeled Paint
Black Soot
Seedless Perserves
What a list that is !!!!

Black Versafine
Clear Powder

Anti-static bag
White Gel Pen

Clear Sparkle Pen

Dark Cherry Gilding Polish

Take Your Leaf Stencil
Blending foam or Smoothies

Card Two is 5x7

Lattice Embossing folder from Sara's Shabby Chic range

Ocean Teal Gilding Polish
Silver Glitter Kiss

Not quite finished yet but I have added some Glossy Accents to the centre of the flowers, it's not dry yet so I can't go any further till it does.

I have coloured my cardstock with the distress inks before stsmping out all of the elements required, each one has been stamped in back ink and embossed in clear powder.

Bring your scissors lol!  You will need them!!!!
See you soon x

Shabby Chic - Flourish and Lilly

Well busy! busy! busy that's me, I almost forgot to do  a post and of course it's new classes time already this week so I will tell you that there is a class tomorrow and Louise and I decided that we could recreate a couple of my samples that I have ready for the demo this Saturday. The good news is everyone who saw them on Tuesday at class asked if they could make them so we said  Yes you can!
The bad news is I left them at the shop for Louise so she could prep everything ready for tomorrow. Well! what's wrong with that you ask, I'll tell you, I didn't take any photos of the cards so I can't show you them until I go back to the shop boo! ''hoo! However I can tell you that I used the New Flourish, Lilly and Window dies that will be part of our demo day and they turned out really pretty.
Card one is a 6x6 Easel style card with the Lilies as the main focal point and card two is a little less fussy and could be quite easily used for a whole range of different occasions, I made it in the style of a sympathy card as I know most people don't like making them or at least find them a little difficult to do, but by changing the die cut sentiment you create a different use.
I simply used a pink shade of Distress ink for the flowers, a pink shade of Alcohol marker  and my White gel pen.
For the next card I chose three colours of my Alcohol pens, purple, blue/turquoise  and deep pink.
Black Versafine and I just can't for the life of me remember anything else but don't panic we've got it covered.
Before I go I can show you a photo of a card that is very similar to one of the class cards, and I will post some pics as soon as I get chance.

See you soon x
Don't forget your card will be slightly different in color.

Shabby Chic Lily Die and Butterfly die set.
Cherished Memories metal die & stamp set.

Just added a couple of photos for the Tuesday class ladies, the colours you will be making will differ slightly.
